Duties will also include reviewing budgetary information to ensure authorization and availability of funds, processing requisitions and purchase orders from various departments, administering the bid process for the County through consultation with County officials on specifications, and establishing and maintaining vendor files.  In addition, work will include establishing and maintaining the fixed asset and inventory system and all records for the County.  Work will also include researching bulk purchasing, warehouse needs, computer inventory management systems, establishing records of taxes from invoices for reimbursement and monitoring minority participation in bidding and contracts.   Other duties may be performed as assigned. Minimum Requirements:Graduation from a two year college or business school, with a major in business administration and considerable experience in purchasing, risk management or related business function; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
