Job Responsibilities : The Plant Engineer understands plant operations as a system consisting of suppliers, processes, and customers. Additionally this position uses project management skills (scope, timing, and budget) to define project expectations and deliverables, while providing technical support for existing processes and process improvement efforts. Primary accountabilities for this position are as follows:Develop, oversee and implement engineering projects resulting in cost reduction, improved safety, improved quality, improved efficiency, and continuous improvement. Participate in the commercialization process, providing necessary manufacturing equipment and process changes.
